I have the {BEST}, most {AWESOME}, tenderhearted girlfriends!
One night Brooke asked if we wanted to form a team for the Susan G Koman Race for the Cure.
And so Team SassyPants was formed.
Many, many of my friend's lives have been affected by cancer, not just breast cancer. So supporting this cause was not merely us supporting a good charity, but it ran so much deeper than that.
It was touching to see not only the survivors and their families, but also to read all the "In Memory" and "In Celebration" tags on the back of people's shirts.
I'm sure Team SassyPants will support this cause for many years to come.
